Good idea but quality issues
The device is a potentially great platform for home practice, but the sound is just too noisy. Occasionally it also emits an ear-piercing high pitched sound, it happens when you combine certain effects and amps/cabs. Some people have these problems, some don’t. Maybe I just got a defective unit, but anyway I returned it and ordered a PG Spark Go.

Buyers beware! Shrill high pitched noise is unavoidable
You will find many people online having this issue. The cleaner the amp, the more you will here a very quiet, high pitched noise that makes you think you have tinnitus after a while. Compression makes it louder and a noisegate is nothing but a confirmation that it's unavoidable, because it disappeared when the gate is on but it appears as soon as you play and the gate opens.
It hurts the ears after a while and is unavoidable and unfixable so.. be warned!
It's very unfortunate because I like the app and sounds you can get out of this thing after some tweaking and was hoping I'd be buying a mobile version of the mighty space, but it's unusable. Instant return for me, sadly.
