Expression pedal design is flawed

As a warning to other potential customers, after having tested multiples expression pedals and talked to their support :

1. BOSS EV-30 is the only pedal that's guaranteed to work as expression pedal. I have two high end expression pedals that fit the specs and they did not work.
2. All expression pedals produce ground noise when plugged in, even the EV-30 (regardless of the quality of your alimentation system)
3. Pressing the toggle switch while plugged to amp produces a LOUD POP.

Official documentation is misleading.
Probably not bad if you don't want the expression control.

I'm getting a GigRig Wetter Box instead.
