Ich spiele seit vielen Jahren Becken der Signature-Linie von Paiste und bin von diesen nach wie vor begeistert. Für ein Zweitset, welches ich vor allem mit der Band live und im Proberaum nutze, habe ich mir jetzt Becken der 602-Linie sowie der Signature Dark Energie- und Signature Traditionals-Serie zugelegt.

Dieses 17" Thin Crash-Becken besticht mit unglaublicher Brillanz und ich finde es ist dadurch sehr vielseitig einsetzbar (live, Studio). Den Ton würde ich als rund, mittig und mit (für mich) schönem Ausklangverhalten beschreiben. Neben dem 17" Thin Crash habe ich zudem die 18" Variante und beide Becken harmonieren perfekt.

Zudem gefällt mir optisch -- wenn man ein wenig auf Notalgie steht -- das "alte" Paiste-Logo auf der Unterseite des Beckens.

Summa summarum ein klasse Becken!
