What a great ride

Extremely happy with this ride. Very nice ping, very clear, shimmering sound with complex overtones. Perfect balance. Fits nicely in the mix without being overpowering.
Expect nothing but the best quality from this high end cymbal.
Highly recommended for every music apart from heavy metal

Heaven in a cymbal

This is such a beautiful ride cymbal. I have it paired with 18" and 20" Giant Beat Multis and 14" Paiste Signature Full Hi Hats. The Paiste website has excellent sound samples that are worth checking out. I play a really wide range of music but This is a stunning cymbal.

Essential is the word

A bright warm cymbal, sensitive with a smooth tone. Tame to the light touch, it can give in a big way in response to being driven.
It's a great honour to own one of these 602s, and luckily for me I have the hi hats too.

Works also as a crash

Beautifully made cymbal, totally crashable ride. Nice feeling and the overall sound is well integrated. Records very well.
As a ride I'd like a little bit more definition. To my taste the wash and long sustain makes the "ping" sound a bit diffuse. If that's what you're looking for, I fully recommend it.
I just regret mine came with two scratches on the bell.
