Rock solid!

I was searching for a case that would protect my equipment (small mixing board, effects...) from cruel airport luggage staff. Almost a year and many gigs later, my gear & Peli case are still in tact with no issues at all. Great product!

Great for Ampeg PF 50T

I am using it to transport my Ampeg PF 50T bass tube amp to rehearsals. Very solid with enough room and protection. I always use it in trolley mode. It is a big box, but my tube amp has an unusual shape. It is very expensive and that made me think a long time before buying it. I am using the inner fills that came with the product. It is of good quality. My amp weights about 8kg with is more or less half the weight of the Peli case. So, there is not much stress for my application. I find it difficult to recommend this case as I don't have much experience with other cases around this price tag. I like my Ampeg amp very much and want to make sure it is well protected (tubes) during transport and on the same time easy to take along. Well this Peli case fulfills all my requirements.

solid, safe and high quality - note for frequent flyers: this size is odd size baggage

i have found the peli cases a very reliable and practical professional upgrade from clunky flight cases, for traveling with gear by car or train, to safely transport e.g. a rack synth, mics, sound cards, etc.

i also have the peli case lid-organiser, which comes in handy for cables and plugs, though it goes in place of the foam protection in the lid, so this needs to be considered when packing

when planning to take this peli case on flights, one should know this size is not considered hand luggage (the smaller one is), and even though it is quite safe to send it into hold, it is considered 'odd sized baggage' (in my experience), so i have had to calculate some extra time in the airport for that.

just a small note: it would have been a nice service from peli to deliver some locks with the cases.

After years of racks, all around cases and bags I believe I've finally got my moneys worth after investing on this model. Not to say the other gear was bad but this is a whole new level of protection and durability.
Not only protects thoroughly, it is not too heavy, handles well and it is highly configurable i.e. when you've finished a tour and are ready to pack different gear onto it for another tour or one off. As long as you can imagine it it's almost liking building blocks easy to arrange to one's liking.

Yes, I definitely recommend it!
