Ich benutze diese Saite mit einem Spirocore-Satz um meinen fünf-Saiter mit hohem C zu komplettieren. Sie integriert sich gut ins Klanggeschehen, ist sehr gut Streich und Zupfbar. Ich spiel von Klassik bis Jazz alles, verstärkt und umverstärkt. Sehr Stimmstabil! Einziger Kritikpunkt ist, dass mir schon zweimal eine Umspannung gerissen ist, jedoch erst jeweils nach ca. einem Jahr.

Flat Chromesteel benutze ich sehr gerne als Saite für alle Fälle, neben ihren guten Streicheigenschaften klingt sie auch pizzicato gut und mit ausreichend sustain. Also habe ich sie auch mal auf meinen hoch-c - Fünfsaiter gespannt mit dem zu erwartenden Ergebnis: wo die Obligatos etwas zu widerspenstig sind, lässt die F.C. bogentechnisch keine Wünsche offen und klingt dennoch im pizz eher nach Cello als nach abgespielten Chromecores. So gefällt mir das!
