Not the best foot switch that I own
It works, but it can give you some headaches. It do not connects automatically and normally I have to force it to search the Spark (and press the search button on the back of the amp).
I think that on 2026, this should be easier for the users, just turn it on and connect automatically, thatr never happened to me.
I had a strange behaviour where it kind of hang up and I wasn't able to do anything with it (even was impossible to turn it off).
But at least it does what is supposed to do, allow you to change presets with the foot and I think also controls the looper, but I didn't use it.

Great for fun, not reliable enough for gigging
Works great when it has power and is paired. I love that it fits in my gig bag and that it doesn't require a cable to connect to the amp.
However I have to pair it each time with my Spark 2. On more than one occasion it repeatedly failed to pair until I reset both the X Control and the Spark 2. Although it has never run out of power on me while using it, the battery life is nowhere near 150 hours.

Only 4 presets accessible ?
I may be dumb but I can only access 4 presets. The ones saved on the device. Cannot access the 100s saved on the app. So it is useless to me. I would need banks of presets. Sold soon right after.
