Nice and low tension, great for magnetic pickup
A bit lower tension than most solo string sets, and a bit higher than a bumped steel set.
Very easy on the fingertips. Sound is not as dark as you would expect, has some brightness/sustain to it, but not in a bad way. Acoustic volume is high for low tension strings.
Durability is good. Keeps in tune.
Works well with a magnetic pickup.
Would recommend if you prefer a magnetic pickup. For piezo pickups synthetic strings may be a better alternative for a darker tone.

great tone, good projection but wears out.
These strings are a good compromise for slap/pizz players.
The provide a good bottom end, are really easy on the fingers and still can be heard without amplification. But after two years of intense slapping, they started to lose their tension so that the drop in tonal height during the decay actually became a problem. You have to change them when this happens, or you will be playing slightly out of tune, no matter how good your intonation happens to be.. but until then they are a good choice, unless you want to use a bow: then you should look elsewhere.

Great strings for less money
I´ve strunk my Thomann 1L double bass with these strings. And I´ve to say, it was a real good decision. The presto nylon strings are very comfortable to play and sounds realy good for slap techniques but also for pizicato styles. I use them in an oldschool sounding 50th rock and roll band and are very satisfied.

Good but not Perfect
This strings are easy to handle and they make a very loud and good sound
but the pressure of them are very high. Its difficult for me to Slap them and the sound is more modern.
