I use them to power my studio monitors.

Most expensive powering cable I ever bought.
Generally, they serve the purpose as expected. Locking the cable in my monitor needed a little force to click in.

Pros:
- Quality
- Locking thing
- Length

Cons:
- Locking needs some force

If you want good quality cable with locking these will serve you well.
I have a few Pro snake cables and they serve me well. Really good cables for the money.

I own a pre-2000s Engl amp, and overtime the power in plug had worn out forks. I had issues with finding consistent ground, but this cable latches itself onto the ground fork, so it eliminated those issues. Plus it grips the fork so tight that if your bassist trips over your power cable, he won't unplug the amp.

Vorneweg eine Bemerkung: Für zu Hause braucht es diese Kabel wohl nicht, aber live macht es Sinn!

Wie beschreibt man jetzt ein Kabel? Ich versuche es mal mit bildlichen Vergleichen.

Die Länge eines Standardanschlusskabels ist ungefähr 1,8 m. Nimmt man nun die Reichweite eines Autos zum Vergleich, kommt man mit einem 3 m-Kabel einfach weiter und spart sich evtl. einmal tanken ? sprich eine Steckdosenleiste auf dem Weg zum Ziel.

Der Querschnitt misst beim Standard 3 x 0,75 qmm, hier 3 x 1,0 qmm. Hier kann man sich eine drei-oder vierspurige Autobahn vorstellen. Im Berufsverkehr ist man froh, wenn man eine Spur mehr hat. Soll heißen bei hohen Lautstärken und Pegelspitzen, sind leistungsstarke Verstärker vielleicht froh, etwas mehr an Querschnitt zu haben, damit genug Power ankommt.

Schließlich noch die Verriegelung: wer fährt heute noch ohne Sicherheitsgurt? Eben!

Man kann auch ohne dieses Kabel auskommen, doch ich bin froh, für meinen Bassverstärker und Floor-Monitor jetzt jeweils ein solches Kabel zu haben. Es gibt einfach ein gutes Gefühl?
