Great for a top F
I use these to create my own 7-string set (B, E, A, D, G, C, F) in conjunction with other brands 6 string sets, as this is the most economic way of restringing an instrument for which stringsets are pretty hard to get hold of. The tone, feel and longevity is as good as any other (non coated) string.

Good string for Top F
Bought it as its only available wound bass string small enough for a top F of my 7 string bass. Verily durable (can get about one tone bend before breakage).

Immaculate addition to your set
I used this one in combination with other strings from Pyramid (20-25-35-45-65-95) for my Squier Bass VI to adjust overall tension up to my preferences. Apparently LaBella and Fender do not offer anything similar. So far those strings feel flawless, the feeling from stainless steel barely differs from regular nickel ones. No reason to search further, I will keep on buying strings from Pyramid and recommend it to anyone without hesitation.
