Using these Cleo XI for the first time.
I have been using Pyramid Nofretete gold strings on my 335 for some time, and these are just as good.
Look great, sound great and feel great.

Von den Elixir bin ich irgendwann mal weggekommen, weil die Produktqualität stark nachgelassen hat. Deswegen vergleiche ich diese vorliegenden Pyramid (coated) gegen Dadarrio XSAPB (coated). Ich spiele die Saiten auf einer vollmassiven Parlor-Gitarre.
Zuerst fällt auf, dass sich die Pyramid etwas weicher anfühlen, etwas dunkler aussehen und auch etwas weicher und leiser klingen. Das ist vielleicht eine Geschmacksfrage, aber mir persönlich hat der knallige und strahlende Ton der XSAPB auch sehr gut gefallen.
Für mich absolut hervorstechend ist die saubere Intonation der Pyramids: über das gesamte Griffbrett in enger und weiter Lage gespielte Akkorde, Quartklänge und Quintakkorde - die Intonation dieser Saiten ist vorbildlich perfekt. Übrigens sind die Pyramid auch 25 Prozent preiswerter. Ich werde wohl bei den Pyramid bleiben.

ich habe die Saiten auf meine Lakewood (Fichte/Palisander) aufgezogen.
Ich zähle mal auf:
- sie klingen sehr differenziert - besonders in Diskantbereich
- Sustain ist sehr gut
- sie sind relativ weich und einfach zu spielen
- sehr schnell stimmstabil
- sehr wenig Greifgeräusche
- habe sie jetzt 4 Wochen drauf und noch kein nachlassen des Klanges (spiele täglich)

Nach zahllosen getesteten Saiten aller möglichen Herstellern, gehören diese Saiten zu den besseren.

Auf jeden Fall mal testen.

Spiele schon lange Elixir und probier immer wieder neue aus.
Bisher für zwei meiner Gitarren sehr gut. Der 11 Satz geht bis 50 und ich finde diesen für meine Gitarren ausgewogener als Elixir 11-52.
Warm und dennoch brilliant. Lange haltbar und angenehm weich zu spielen.
Einzig negative, beim sliden/ rutschen auf den Seiten sind die Pyramide laut.
Antesten lohnt sich dennoch.
