Over the years I played a lot Daddario and Ernie Ball. Both great sounding strings, but not THE ultimate decision for my whole life. So now you know my previous experiences :-)
I wanted to test a few different string sets. I bought at Thomann strings from GHS, Fender, Gibson, SIT and Pyramid.
I am not a guy who always needs to play "big brands" like Gibson and Fender.
But in my string challenge they won. The finest sound gave me the Fender String Set, followed by Gibson and GHS.
The Pyramids reminded me a lot on the SIT Set, which was stainless steel.
They sound and felt very "old" to me. They looked darker and sounded not as brilliant as "new" strings shall sound.

Nice balance

I like the slightly thicker B-string and thinner A-string on this set as it feels more balanced with those gauges. Sound was fine as are most brands. Durability was pretty good as I normally break a string every other gig and these lasted three! Good price, too.

Unbelievable set of strings...i've tried everything on my strat, but nothing can even come close to these strings. The sound is perfectly balanced. They really make your guitar shine!
Unfortunately there was an error. Please try again later.
