All about intention!
I was a complete shamanic drum snob until I heard the Buffalo Remo drum many years ago and with my work as a shamanic and sound healer practitioner and as someone who works outside at festivals using my drum in most of my treatments, my hide drums are only great as long as the sun is out and it is warm otherwise forget it! So I was really pleased to finally get me this Buffalo drum. it is fab, has a lovely deep voice, is lightweight enough to drum for a long time, well made, and has nice gold string for the handle. Delivery was good, I buy a lot from Thomaan because normally everything goes really well and they are reasonable with their prices.

Great drum with a deep, rich tone.
I absolutely love this drum. It has a deep, rich, grounding bass tone, which is what I was after as I use it for guided meditations, breathwork, and visualisations. You could get a bass tone from larger frame drums, but the Bahai Buffalo drum's smaller size makes it great to travel with. Bonus points are that it's all black.

Quality with deep resonance and great response.
Been looking for a drum for Shamanic work that has a real resonance and response to touch. This was a suggestion and once I heard it, that was it! Perfect deep sound and volume with beater, along with quality response to all work with hands and fingers. Cannot stress just how pleased I am with this drum. I know it will be with me as a constant companion. I am now busy making a custom padded, waterproof bag for this beautiful instrument. The design and workmanship are A1 as one would expect from a maker like Remo. Extra plus is that you get all this without sourcing inhumanely. Just so smiley about this!

Excellent sound
This is the best frame drum I have ever used, or indeed heard. The sound is deep, mellow and bassy. It has a rich depth and carries very well.

Best sounding frame drum I've personally played
I've played with a number of frame drums, but am especially pleased with this special beauty. What a truly moving, captivating, percussive sound she creates. Absolutely satisfied, and impressed with the quality of craftsmanship by Remo. Well done.

Beautiful deep sound
Love this drum. Even though I’ve other drums that I’ve made, this is my go to. The sound is nice and deep and bass-y. I use it a lot in therapy with clients who struggle to access and express emotions. It’s great.

I use this drum for drum circles and music therapy.
Clients (children and adults) love the sound and the vibration that this hand drum provides.
Cons:
The drum is heavy and big, this makes it difficult for kids to use.

Love this drum
I absolutely love this drum and it had its first outing at summer solstice at stone henge. The rich deep sound is beautiful. Highly recommend this drum

Just amazing!
It is way better than any other shamanic drum I've tested. The basses are wow and the sustain amazing. Totally recommended!

Beautiful Resonance
This is my first drum admittedly, purchased for shamanic drum work on the the advice of a friend, as I wanted a synthetic skin. I love this drum so much!! It sounds deep and powerful. I have to play it every day. It is a great size, but light enough to carry around. It looks beautiful too.
