i tested the base in my home studio due to space limitations, as a tripod would take up too much room. this one magically won the prize if you ask me, i would definitely let more people know about it, as it can work as a stage base, home studio, and whatever else you may think of. like, i would even use it to hold my mic for podcasts. It is sturdy and can handle the weight without issues.
Edit: Im currently using it with a Rode NT1 5th Gen and it works well, had no issues at all, i just removed the extra adapter to be able to fit tighter the Rode's spider. Under specific sides, i felt like that the spider was not "even" and somebody with OCDs may feel overwhelmed.
Im holding some of my words for now, as i know that such bases have parts that start to get loose from time to time, but i hope it will prove a great choice.
