Its made for a purpose and does it well.
There is not much more to add.
Handy discovery if you had never heard of it. And they last....I use them quite a lot.

?Simple thing, tricky to ues

This does the thing it should do; protects your fingerboard when filing or polishing your frets.

The hard part is use rubber bands to hold it on its place. I usually end up holding it by hand instead of using rubber bands. Holding this is easier if you add some duct tape to sides to make it a bit bigger and easier to hold.

Good for protecting the fingerboard, although maybe it should be more sturdy than it is. It does what it has to do. Good!
