All-in-all is a good device. Plug'n play on Windows and Linux, low noise, easy-to-use controls, small footprint.
On the downside: when powering on the headphone output is not muted, so it starts with a thump, which is quite unpleasent.
With my Rode Procaster could not produce enough gain to use it for e.g. Skype without postprocessing. So both on Windows and Ubuntu I use
extra tools for additional gain (Equalizer APO, pvaucontrol).

solid product for everyday use
With upgraded firmware it provides enough amplification for dynamic microphone and is quite small and solidly built. Usable as a discrete interface for everyday needs.

Good quality but limited
The preamp quality is better than most audio interfaces of this price range. It offers, however, limited features. Make sure you are not going to need more in the long run, before buying this.
