Headset-Mikrofon in Broadcast-Qualität?

Da hat Rode m. E. ziemlich übertrieben. Unter Broadcast-Qualität stelle ich mir etwas anderes vor. Zum telefonieren und vielleicht auch für den Gamer ist der Sound ausreichend. Der ambitionierte Podcaster wird aber enttäuscht sein. Dass es auch mit kleinen Kapseln besser geht, beweist Rode mit dem smartLav+. Von Mikrofonen mit größerer Membran (½, ¾, 1``) aus diesem Hause natürlich ganz zu schweigen.
Für meine Dubbing-Produktionen scheidet dieses Mikro jedenfalls aus.

Ein Problem ist auch die Anordnung des Mikrofons. Es kann nur an die Buchse in der rechten Ohrmuschel gesteckt werden. Der zunächst von Rode sogar beworbene Vorteil, dass das Kabel an beiden Seiten wahlweise installiert werden kann, ist damit futsch.

Der Mikrofonarm ist steif. Die Position vor dem Mund hängt daher nur von der Position des Kopfbügels ab. Das kann bei Plosivlauten und S sowie F zum Problem werden. Bei meinen ersten Testaufnahmen sofort zu hören. Und Wind? Das Mikrofon ist windempfindlich. Ein Windschutz wird nicht mitgeliefert, draußen aber unbedingt erforderlich.
Aus meiner Sicht daher nur für bestimmte Anwendungen empfehlenswert.
