Great quality of the product, not so much of the sound
Rode PodMic is really sensitive mic. It picks up background noise so easily, and even electro-magnetic sounds from phones, computers, or the internet. You really have to take care where you are placing this mic. Or do some post-processing.
The product itself is quite sturdy and heavy, the pop-filter inside is pretty good and the shock mount built-in is a nice addition. I would love to be getting some case with it in the box, as you only get a mic and nothing else, but I guess this mic is not really meant to be moved around. It's more of a desk mic that will not be moved once it is plugged in.

Has a Broadcast sound quality to it.
It works very well for voice-over work, especially when used through heavy compression.
Sounds great.
It has no switches or settings to alter.
It is heavy.
It has great build quality.
It has a great swivel mount.
It looks great on camera.
It is a Cardiod microphone.
Very nice mic sound quality to it, that is typical of a Cardiod type mic, which is what I was after.
Extremely low output though. I had to buy an inline Gain booster to before I could actually use it for any work.
I paired it up with an 'SE M1 Dynamite' gain booster, and it now has an acceptable level to work with.
As a point of comparison:
While I find a Shure KSM27 condenser mic is great for recording singing, and the Senheisser ME66 is perfect for recording vocal speech on video shoots, this Rode PocMic is better suited for recording vocal Voice Overs.
Highly recommended for this, but just make sure you also buy a 'Pre-pre-amp' (aka 'gain booster') to go with it.

Not a professional, but very happy
I use this mic for calls with my clients and for my own music recordings. I'm not super amazing, but it I think it sounds like a mic worth the money.

The build quality is very good, it does weight almost 1kg so you need a strong boom arm. Sound quality is also good, but it feels like it lacks a little on the bottom end, but it can be easily fixed with some eq.

Excellent podcast mic
The sound is warm and full. I'm not a sound engineer or voiceover artist, I'm just using my ears and comparing it to the small diaphragm condenser microphones .The PodMic proved to be an excellent choice for putting on to a desktop mount or to a articulating mic arm. Great versatile solution for pocasters.

Clear sound, warm
quick install, warm sounding.
You might need a good DAC as the mic itself can be quiet.
