Worth the Peace of Mind
It dampens the vibrations your floor (and subsequently people under you) receive from banging on your kick-drum and/or hi-hat. If you can't splurge for a whole platform, this is definitely a must-have, and a really worthy investment.

It works
Quality durable product, does not slip. I had a self-made sound and vibrations isolation on the floor, but vibration from bass-pedal (Roland KD-9) were pretty sensitive for neighbours. NE-10 helps to reduce vibrations (not for 100%, but very effective) to the floor. It is better to try to put it on different surfaces: on the carpet or drum rug or straight on the floor - damping effect is different, so you can choose best option.
Cons.: a bit expensive.

Very very solid
Ok so everyone saw them on video but when u see them in real life they are actually impressive - very heavy - and they seem to do the job. When u see them on drums you see half because the rest is under the drum. So no they are worth 100-% of their price - no discussion. Now I can't juge from sound isolation perspective - but I played all day and didn't see any neighbors - so what can I say

The noise eater board does everything that it sets out to do perfectly. I have zero concern now using a kick pedal on a practice pad set in an apartment. Plus it works perfectly on laminate floors -- no sliding what so ever.
The only problem is its price. I guess this is to recoup the R&D costs that must have gone it into developing the product? DIY solutions won't be nearly as good. Lastly, the board really is not something that gets old -- so you only buy it once.

The best decision for home drumming
I'm living in flat, so I tried to find the solution for not bother neighbors from noise of my drum training. I use noise eater for bass pedal and is good for it, and now I can training freely.
The price is bit high but it worth it.

Pricy but good
Works like a charm.
Quite expensive but very well built and very efficient in killing the kick pedal's vibration.
Recommended.

Very good
I use it to silence the kick of my V-Kit. The noise is reduced significantly, to a point that if my downstairs neighbour had the TV on, I don't think he would hear me.
The thing is very stable, there is not wobbling problem even with intensive playing.
