Works just fine.

Some guy who makes music 12.02.2021

I used this to install a second tailpiece of a different length that I got with my bass from the maker.

The metal ends on this wire are a little wider than the holes the maker had in the tailpiece, but it was a quick fix with a clamp and a drill bit. I would chalk that up, however, to it being an odd secondary tailpiece to a strange instrument, and not the fault of this wire being some strange size or anything, which seems to be very high quality.

All-in-all, I'm very satisfied, and especially for the price. I don't know how much this contributes to it at all, as it was part of a completely new set up (new type of strings, bridge adjustment, etc.), but my bass sounds better than ever.

Holds so far, nuts/threads didn't get stuck when mounting, length is just right for a mass produced 1/4 double bass, stable tuning right away. I would say the quality is good.
