Ich bin eigentlich Fan von Sennheiser-Produkten. Doch statt einem Windschutzkorb von Sennheiser habe ich mich lieber für meine Dreharbeiten in unterschieldlichsten Situationen für ein Rycote-Windkorb entschieden. Der Preis ist deutlich höher, nur lohnt sich meiner Meinung nach die Invesition. Durch meine Arbeit als Rucksackproduzent müssen Windkörbe bei mir viel aushalten. Schmutz, Wind, viel zu voll gepackte Reisekoffer. Einen Sennheiser-Windschutz habe ich schon mehrfach beschädigen können. Bei meinem Rycote Modular Windshield WS 4 Kit ist mir das bisher noch nicht gelungen. Das Ding hält verdammt viel aus und gegenüber Sennheiser ist das Mikro in der Halterung wesentlich besser fixiert. Ich bin sehr zufrieden.

Meines Wissens nach der einzige Windkorb am Markt, der für ein Rode NT4 geeignet ist. (Stand 2021)
Aber genau für mein NT4 brauche ich einen Windkorb, da ich natürlich aussen aufnehmen will.
Daher alternativlos, eine preislich günstigere Variante hätte mich nicht gestört.

Ansonsten genau das, was ich wollte. Ein robuster Windkorb, und auch am Fell gibt es nichts zu meckern. Die Kabel und Anschlüsse machen auf mich einen guten Eindruck, und die Länge passt für mich sehr gut. Ich hatte damit gerechnet, noch zusätzliche XLR-Kabel zu brauchen, das wird in den meisten Fällen bei mir nicht nötig sein.

Gute Qualität und hält die Windgeräusche gut ab. Von daher gibt es bei mir die volle Punktzahl.

Ich hab mir das WS 4 Kit vor 3 Jahren gekauft um bei Wind und Wetter professionelle Töne aufzumehmen.
Die Verarbeitung ist top und die Ergebnisse sind auf höchstem Niveau.
