Obwohl die Sabian B8 Serie ja mehr dem Economy Segment zuzuordnen ist, bin ich mit dieser eigentlich sehr zufrieden. Ich habe die Becken in mehreren Größen und sie klingen schön crisp, sprechen gut an und klingen harmonisch aus. Nicht zu laut, nicht zu leise. Interessanterweise klingen sie nach längerer Zeit (ein paar Monate) auch etwas "offener".

Ein Tipp u.a. beim B8 Ridebecken: Ein Moongel Pad hintendrauf gegen unerwünschte hochfrequente Obertöne).

Das 10er Splash fällt dagegen allerdings etwas ab. Es klingt weniger wie ein Splashbecken als ein sehr hochmittig gestimmtes Crashbecken, mit relativ starkem "Gong". Im Vergleich dazu ist das (im 10er Format) nicht sooo wesentlich teurere AAX ganz klar besser. Klingt einfach frischer und als Splash Effekt durchsetzungsfähiger ohne dabei aufdringlich zu werden.

Die Verarbeitung ist allerdings in allen Größen Sabiantypisch sehr gut und robust.
