Ja, die Saiten sind nicht billig...., stimmt wohl.
Es sind Saiten die bereits beim Auspacken ein Gefühl der Hochwertigkeit aufkommen lassen. Nach dem Aufziehen und leichtem Dehnen halten sie sofort ihre Stimmung.
Beim Anschlagen der Saiten ertönt ein warmes differenziertes Klangbild.
Die Saiten sind weich / sehr angenehm in der Bespielbarkeit und lassen sich gut benden. Die Spannung der einzelnen Saiten ist gut aufeinander abgestimmt. Die zweite Saite (F#) ist nicht wie bei den 16/70 Elixir Baritone Saiten ein 22er plain steel Draht, sondern hat eine fein umsponnene Phosphor Bronze Legierung.
Diese wirklich tollen Saiten lassen die Taylor Baritone exakt so klingen wie man es von einer Taylor Gitarre erwarten würde.
Im Preisvergleich zu den Elixir Baritone Saiten sind die S.-Cruz tatsächlich günstig.
Es ist wohl mit das Beste vom Feinsten was man sich übers Fretboard ziehen kann.
