Gewisse Saitenhalter, insbes. bei älteren Modellen, haben ein verkürztes Mass von der 1. bis zur 6. Saite, weshalb der Schaller GTM N Steg nachträglich mit einem Feilenset gekerbt werden muss, welches das Dopplete des Stegs kostet.

Verwendung auf Welson E-Gitarre, Modell Kinton, Italien, frühe 60er jahre.
