Das Mundstück spricht sehr gut an oberhalb c‘‘ . Aber auch die unteren Register sind gut zu spielen. Wenn man aber überwiegend im Liniensystem spielt, ist es nicht geeignet. Aber vom c‘‘ bis zum c‘‘‘‘ macht es großen Spaß und lässt die Töne leichter kommen als mit einem Standard 3C/7C. Anspruchsvoller ist aber die Intonation. Hier muss man aufpassen und gut hören. Gerade beim Spielen im Satz ist das eine Herausforderung. Ich habe mir das vergoldete bestellt, damit ich es leichter unter den anderen erkenne. Ich spiele es auf Bach Stradivarius und Gottfried Büchel Piccolo B/A.
