Großer, mächtiger klassischer Ton für die 2./4. Trompete oder solche, die z.B. einen noch breiteren Kesseldurchmesser und steilere Innenkanten als Breslmayr wollen. Zumindest für mich ideal (ich komme mit schmalen Kesseln und breiten Rändern nicht zurecht), aber man braucht auch ordentlich Kraft und Ausdauer dafür. Man kann damit u.A. eng klingende Instrumente "weiter" machen. Trotz der mächtigen Tiefe bleibt aber - zumindest auf meinem Instrument - der helle Trompeten-Charakter erhalten. Ich verwende es auf meiner Bach C-Trompete für tiefe Trompete im Orchester (für 1./3. spiele ich auf einem Schilke 14C2). Für Big Band und lange Dämmerschoppen auf der 1. würde ich etwas anderes nehmen ;-) Sehr empfohlen.
PS: Wenn man einen dünkleren Klang, einen weicheren Rand und ein bisschen mehr Widerstand bevorzugt, könnte man das Bach 1X zum Vergleich heranziehen.

J'ai trouvé cette embouchure très agréable à jouer dans le registre grave : confort, souplesse, son, justesse. Les choses se gâtent dès lors qu'il faut monter dans le medium-aigu (à partir du mi). Je conseille donc cette embouchure à ceux qui jouent des parties graves. Mais, je l'ai renvoyée pour tester une 16.
