Takes some practise... but it's worth the effort!
Last year, I bought a very nice Sevada Duduk in G, that comes with a soft reed. In addition I bought a medium reed as well.
At first, I prefered the soft reed, because it's easier to play... So I didn't often use the medium. Recently I got in touch with a duduk player, who gave me some advise on using the medium reed, so I started practising... That turned out to be quite rewarding! It's my impression that the medium reed has a steadier pitch... and although I still need a lot of practise, I already slightly prefer the sound of the medium reed... (Both reeds are of good quality, that's for sure!)

Good sound
I haven’t been playing the duduk for long, but I can feel the quality of this mouthpiece from its wonderful sound, it’s very mesmerizing.
