An amazing set of picups
Nemises 13.08.2026
I manged to get them wired and installed without any issues and the tones are amazing. I am in loving the diversity that it offers, I am play many different styles and this serves every style for me.

Top-Pickups, aber Modus 3 leider nicht für mich

Modus 1 – modern, präzise. Steg-Pickup im Vergleich zum EMG 81: weniger Höhen, etwas mehr Body im mittleren und unteren Bereich.

Modus 2 – mächtiger Unterschied zu Modus 1: starke Anhebung der Bässe und unteren Mitten, klingt matschiger, weniger Präzision.

Modus 3 – an sich nett, aber der Single-Coil-Modus hat einen künstlichen Charakter, was besonders im direkten Vergleich mit dem EMG 89 hörbar ist. Mit dem SH-2 (SD Jazz) hat dieser Modus leider wenig zu tun, da ich selbst einen SH-2 schon besitzt habe.

Fazit: Für High-Gain / Crunch sehr gut geeignet, Clean-Sound (Modus 3) ist etwas speziell.
