Der Wunsch einer Steinberger GT-Pro Deluxe in der Halsposition einen Vintage-Sound zu bescheren ist aufgegangen.
Der Sound ist fett, mit schönem Höhen-Anteil. Funktioniert klasse von Röhren clean bis crunchy. Den satten Output habe ich dabei etwas kompensiert, indem der Pickup mit sehr großem Abstand zu den Saiten eingestellt ist. Das ergibt den passenden Ausgleich zum Bridge-Pickup. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis.
Abschließenede Anmerkung: Bei der GT-Pro waren dafür ein paar Arbeiten am Korpus notwendig, dass der Pickup passt. Profis würden fräsen ... ging aber auch anders ;-)
