UV all around
UV's have always been very important in my events and I have had i think most UV's you can imagine. I have had the normal fulorescent pipe bulbs (older ones), UV Cannons, eco / energy saving bulbs, LED Par's, etc. I have recently decided to take one of these and - as with every change - is difficult at first to know if you have made the right choice. Me and my assistant plugged it in in various scenarios and room sizes and were impressed to how good the power of this LED is and how wide it is. If you are looking for a wide one, two of these in a dancefloor of a club (average size for 150 / 200 people) will do a great effect if you dont have a lot of white light / projector screen / etc around. The main difference between these and the Par (I have 56 and 64 PAR UV's as well) is the wideness of the spread of it which is very important to me. The PAR is focused on just one area and you have to spread them around evenly while with this one it seems to cover most of the area without paying too much attention to where you rack it. Looks sturdy construction and has a on / off switch behind it which is very useful. Totally recommended!

Finally a "proper" LED UV effect
I love UV lights, and have had every available type including 400W discharge cannons, fluorescent tubes, and LED units. I've previously been slightly disappointed with the effect of other LED-based UV lights because the wavelength was slightly different and they produced a lot of visible purple light. However, these are much better. They do give the authentic UV glow without excessive visible purple light. They're surprisingly powerful and really give a good glow over even quite a large dance floor. They're also nice and light, good value, and have great adjustable brackets on the back. Recommended.
