This is an excellent product that will help lots of wind players.
It is easy to adapt to your teeth, the material is good and the instructions are clear. It comes with a case too that ended up as my everyday case for the lip protector.
Even so, it comes with some issues that I feel I need to mention:
The material is good, but stiff, and for me that's a minus. I prefer to use a normal silicone mouthguard for boxers, cut it into pieces and mould it into my teeth shape. Then comes the price. At this price you can buy 3 or 4 full mouthguard which provide you for substantial material instead of just one small piece that eventually you would have to change.
Anyway, I think this is an excellent product and I could recommend it to any wind player. The material choice to protect your teeth greatly varies among musicians and everyone has their own preferences on this.

Guter Lippen- und Zahnschutz

Wer nach längerem Spielen öfter Schmerzen in der Unterlippe oder an den Zähnen hat ... sollte in erster Linie seinen Ansatz umstellen :-D Aber auch mit einem guten Ansatz kann es nach einer längeren Zeit zu unangenehmem Druck kommen. Hier kann der Omni Guard tatsächlich etwas Abhilfe schaffen. Falls die Beschwerden von den Zähnen her rühren, kann der Ombi Guard zwar auch helfen - in dem Fall würde ich aber zum Abklären beim Zahnarzt raten und ggf. von diesem einen professionellen Zahnschutz anfertigen lassen.
Zur Anwendung: Es funktioniert wie in der Anleitung beschrieben recht unkompliziert und lässt sich auch durch erneutes Erwärmen neu und anders formen. Allerdings ist mir beim zweiten Mal Umformen das Plastik an einer Stelle ein klein wenig eingerissen - vielleicht zu viel Hitze, zu viel Kraft oder doch schwaches Material. Es erfüllt allerdings weiterhin seinen Zweck.
Fazit: Der Omni Guard ist nach meiner bescheidenen Meinung zwar etwas teurer als Zigarettenpapier oder die meisten anderen Folien oder Wachspapiere zum Schutz von Lippen und Zähnen, trägt sich aber recht angenehm, da er seine Form nach dem Anpassen bei behält und recht lange halt.

J'utilise ce produit plusieurs heures par jours pour donner mes cours. Il a l'avantage de ne pas se couper dans la durée. L'inconvénient, c'est la sensation de dureté sous la lèvre, comparé à d'autres marques qui proposent un produit en plastique souple, plus agréable mais moins résistant...
