Great cable for pedal boards
I normally use Sommer "The spirit" cable to wire rack effects units, but that cable is marginally too large for use on the pancake right angle jack plugs need for a pedal tray. hence I thought I'd try the Tricone.
Really nice cable to use when building leads for installation. still a quality cable with plenty of shielding, but the smaller diameter makes a big difference on a crowded pedal tray.
Surprisingly not sonic difference between this and the more expensive sommer cable when using for shorter cable runs.
I haven't tried a direct test on longer instrument to amp type cables so can't compare in that format.
For wiring pedal boards, racks etc I'd totally recommend this cable. Very impressed.

good quality, good price!
jumped into soldering my own patch cables instead of working around specifically-sized stock ones. been a good while now (over a year). i've made quite a number of patch cables for myself and my band, as well as a couple of instrument cables, and i've yet to have any issue with any of them )that weren't caused by my shoddy amateur soldering!). initial impressions worried me a little as the cable seemed a little thin and flexible compared to, say, the fender cables i tended to use previously, but having given them a good long field test (quite rigorous, as i am perhaps less gentle with my cables than i ought to be) the build quality is solid and produce no issues sonically whatsoever. perfect buy!

love it!
I needed a really flexible cable for my complexed pedalboard. I believe this is the best cable you may use as a patch cable along with Hicon plugs, in my case. It really works, not only for me, but also for my friends, who are professional musicians.

Pedalboard Patch cables
I just rebuilt my pedalboard and needed a lot of cables to use between the pedals and the switcher. With the previous cables i was geting some unwanted noises and interferences so my seach started. I came across this cable and a lot of users gave me great feedback. So... i ordered a few metres and lets get to work.
Fist impression, very flexible ... Great! fashionwise it?s not the fanciest cable on the market but looks good enough to me. I found it was very easy to work with.
And The best part ... after all cables connected a had no unwanted noises. Great job Sommer.

Buy with confidence
Bought this particular cable from Sommer cable to make instrument cables to be used on our church stage. these cables are highly flexible and they are rugged even though they look thin. I found the cable is easy to prepare and solder.
I have replaced all our church microphone cables and patch cables with sommer cable after realising the superior quality and durably of this amazing cables.
If you need to test sommer cables you can send them a direct message and they will send you a sample of their cables collection. This way you will know exactly what to order from Thomman. With Thomman you get the best price available for sommer cables than anywhere els in europe

Nice and flexible
Bought it to use it for patch cables and I am satisfied. Easy to work and flexible, very important if you want to wire up a crammed pedalboard.

Excellent Quality for General Short Length Usage
Excellent build quality, it is non-tangle and easy to manage. I pair with Neutrik plugs and are excellent to be used as patch cables and as well as short length cables less than 5 meters. Since these are 24 AWG, they are not recommended to be used for long runs in live setups, it is better to get the higher end Spirit cables which have much lower capacitance or use a signal buffer. Highly recommended in the short length or patch cable setup conditions I mentioned earlier. They pair well with all the Neutrik and Amphenol connector heads that I am using so far

Excellent quality cable for stage use
I used these for unbalanced patch ables for floor/pedal use, and in that context, they are excellent (well, arguably over-engineered).
I would also recommend it for making longer instrument cables, except in very toughest, roughest on-stage situations (in which case have a look at Sommer's The Spirit).
Flexible (given the diameter), well-built, and easy to handle, and east to solder. Excellent signal transmission, and, for an unbalanced cable, low noise.
That's the pros. Cons? None. Highly recommended.

Perfect for pedalboard patch-cables!
Just fully wired a pedalboard with it and I'm very satisfied with a results! No noticeable interferences, hums or noises - works as it should be. Soundwise it seems pretty neutral, without any dulling or additional colouring.
Good balance of flexibility, durability and coating strength alongside with a small cable diameter makes it great for using in any sort of pachcables. For a long instrument stage cable it also should work just fine, though I'd consider something a bit more thick and rigid.
Cable coating has a good heat-resistance, that makes it easier for soldering.
Overall, great value for the price. Highly recomend it!
