C'est avec l'Orpheus que j'ai découvert Sontronics, et c'est une très bonne surprise.
Le rapport qualité prix est incroyable, au départ choisis pour des prises de guitare acoustique (j'en ai acheté une paire), j'ai ensuite commencé à les utiliser pour des room batterie, ou en overhead, et dans les deux cas il s'en sortent à merveille.
C'est aussi une excellente alternative, couplé à un très bon préampli, pour les prises voix-off.

Empfehlung! Tolles Mikrophon!

Habe mir das Mikrophon aus Neugierde bestellt, da ich schon mit dem CORONA von Sontronics gute Erfahrungen gemacht hatte.
Ich besitze das AKG C414 und habe es mit dem Orpheus verglichen. Akustische Gitarre, Sprechstimme, Percussion, Orgel durch Gitarren-Amp, Percussion. Bei allen Quellen hat mir das Orpheus besser gefallen als mein AKG C414 (mit welchem ich seit Jahren grundsätzlich sehr zufrieden war!). Das Orpheus bleibt bei mir im Studio und ich kann es absolut weiterempfehlen!

I have tried a lot of overhead microphones trough the years..
These are great. Pick up just perfect to sit in the mix.
Great also as room mics..
No sharps, no cheap middle or muddy lows
Just perfect..
I will keep these a long time...

un micro versatile au look retro

Je l'utilise en studio pour enregistrer des pianos et des voix.
j'apprécie la versatilité : Omni, cardioide, figure en 8.
Le son bien que plus brilliant et clair que la série ruban du meme constructeur reste typé vintage, amateur de précision totale s'abstenir, mais ici on gagne en poésie et en signature sonore.
le look est sublime et fait son effet en session.
Petit moins, la qualité du métal n'est pas au top du top du top, pour ce prix la, c'est normal, mais c'est le seul point de défaut pour un micro a forte personnalité.
