More than a couple of couplers
Global Truss couplers are available in very different designs, for an almost universal range of tasks and applications. Stage techs and other users will find they have huge creative freedom in the design of their sets and stages: the direct mounting of technical equipment on cross beams and the flexible attachment of lifting gear is just the beginning. Depending on the specific trusses and accessories being used, tensile loads from a few dozen kilos to several hundred kilos can be mounted. The majority of the many versatile hoists work across all systems. In addition to the range of familiar standard products, there are special variants making unique installations even easier: there's the Selflock hook, which offers a certain degree of safety even when the retaining screw is open, and the Small Quick half coupler, with a quick-release fastener that enables light to medium-weight equipment to be attached quickly and conveniently.

About Global Truss
Global Truss is a company specialising in the manufacture of aluminium products for event technology and stage construction. Headquartered in the Baden-Württemberg municipality of Karlsbad, near the city of Karlsruhe, the company has grown since its creation in 2000 to become a leading global manufacturer of trusses, with subsidiaries in the USA and Asia. All couplers great and small
Depending on the specific model and series, Global Truss couplers are used for different things: Half couplers with wing nuts or screws are ideal for mounting lighting technology and other devices directly to trusses. Swivel couplers, on the other hand, create a stable connection between two standard chord tubes, further expanding the already very diverse options; there are even flexible swivel couplers, allowing users to set the angle of attachment freely. Half couplers with half cones and spacers also serve to expand construction options, while the half couplers with eyelets are suitable for attaching shackles, steel cables, and other lifting equipment to any point on a truss. One special item is the corner brake, which consists of a telescopic rod and two half couplers and is used like a brace to extend the usable length of a set of chords.
