I bought this for my student and she‘s been using this for 1 1/2 years now. It has good sound and the work finish is also not bad that the strings stay stable. I‘ve had bad experiences with other companies in this price range that the packs wouldn’t stay or bridge was not finished properly, and with this one I‘m very satisfied. For 1 1/2 no issues.

Natürlich kann man für 1,5 bis 2 Jahre auch eine Geigen von Geigenbauer leihen, die natürlich einen noch schöneren Klang - wobei man beim Spiel von 7 Jährigen die objektive Schönheit hauptsächlich durch die Verklärung auf Grund parentaler partieller Taubheit wahrnimmt.
Und da ich mein Tochter sehr liebe, klappt das auch mit einer Stentor Geige. Wir haben schon die 1/8 Geige benutzt und waren zusammen mit der Lehrerin sehr zufrieden mit Klang, Stimmbarkeit, Halten der Intonation und vor allem dem Preis / Leistungsverhältnis, da auch sehr viele günstige Modelle gibt, die in allen Bereichen schlecht sind, dem Kind jegliche Freude am Spiel verderben.
Also noch mal kurz: das Set ist sehr gut und klingt gut.
Ein Problem mit dem Bogen (die Haare waren in der Bogespitze schlecht verleimt und lösten sich bei ersten Auftrag von Kolphonium) wurde unkompliziert durch Zusenden eines neuen Bogens behoben. SUPER SERVICE!

Mein Sohn (6) hat begonnen Geigenunterricht zu nehmen. Ich selber habe auch mein Leben lang musiziert. Unsere Geigenlehrerin hatte uns davon abgeraten eine Geige aus dem Internet zu bestellen. Ich muss aber sagen, dass ich mit der Verarbeitung und dem Klang im Verhältnis zum Preis sehr zufrieden bin. Die Lehrerin musste noch die Feinjustierung einiger Teile vornehmen, dass war aber in 5 min erledigt. Natürlich ist die Geige nicht mit einem 1000 EUR Modell vom Geigenbauer zu vergleichen, aber als Einsteigerinstrument kann ich die Geige wärmstens empfehlen.

Ein Lob an Thomann noch: Beim ersten stimmen riss eine Saite, einen Tag später hatte Thomann uns schon eine Ersatzsaite zukommen lassen. :-)
