The sound of the Sapele is amazing you can play everything with it. The projection is stunning for the size of the guitar. I prefere the E version because there is 4 selectors. High, mids, lows and volume. The gigbag is the best secure way to transport this beast. Plus the colour is fashion. I remain surprised by the quality of this small guitar. I played the all Koa plus version 2 times and I prefer the sound of this one. If you like Sapele is a great pick. The two other good choices are the mahogany one and the Rosewood seb version for me. If I buy an other Gs-mini I will bought the Rosewood or kao with Sitka spruce top. Absolutely not the all Koa version.

Amazing guitar

Perfect setup from the box, amazing looks, and really really good playability and sound. The sound is huge from such a "small" guitar, and it's great if you are just strumming chords, or if you are fingerpicking. The notes really come through clean. Wonderful guitar, I'm so happy with it. Definitely recommend. I've tried a short scale Martin, but this Taylor is so much better. This is my first Taylor guitar, and I guess it won't be the last, even though I don't need another one when I have this GS mini-e.
