my issues with the pedal are that switching between channels doesn't sound smooth, and that the reverb needs a little bit more work - a little more decay would have been more authentic to my ears. Otherwise the reverb sounds great, it has a nice drippy feel you'd expect from it. Comparing to the real thing it's hard to tell the difference overall.
Other than that I plug in my strat/tele straight into a PA and I get two very usable and authentic sounding/feeling blackface channels. Simple to use. Takes pedals (boost/OD) great. I tried the headphone jack - the volume and gain controls affect the volume level of the headphones so if you dime the gain and volume for tone it will be very loud in your headphones. So far there has been one firmware update which was an improvement - you can read about it from TC - I find their description accurate. One thing I question about the pedal is in it's logo inscription - 65' means 65 feet - distance. Not year. This pedal has been a great value to me as it's compact, takes very little power ( Under 300mA - I've used a power bank to power it with the Joyo USB power converter, which goes up to 450 mA if I remember) and it's very simple to use because of it's traditional/analog layout of the controls and lack of a screen and menus to scroll down. Most of all - It feels great under the fingers when you play, interacts with the guitar volume and tone controls as you would expect. I've also put all kinds of pedals before or after it with good success. I've recommended it to other musicians who, like me, liked it very much. I've had/have Kemper, HX stomp, humboldt simplifier, SansAmps and flyrigs, Korg Pandora, Cuvave Cube Baby, all kinds of emulation in the past 25 years, this one is my favorite. I hope this helps.

Je me suis orienté vers ce produit pour ne plus utiliser mon ampli dans mon groupe et dans le collectif dans lesquels je joue, pour éviter de le transporter pour ne brancher que la sortie line en console et master à zéro . Premiers essais super motivants: je retrouve en direct console de vraies sensations d’ampli que je n’avais pas avec la sortie line. Tout est mieux: percer le mix , les deux canaux et la reverbe: bien pratique! Si j’avais à refaire le choix d’un ampli il y a quelques années, je m’orienterai sûrement vers ce type de pédale, avec une enceinte FRFR: beaucoup plus pratique. J’aime beaucoup cette simplicité : deux canaux, une reverbe, et pas 50 milles options. Ça sonne directement, ya plus qu’à jouer!

La idea era que necesitaba un emulador porque en la banda de bodas a la que me acabo de unir no podemos usar amplificadores ni monitores. Había estado usando un pedal Harley Benton que emula a un fender deluxe pero la salida de emulación de altavoz no me convencía. Pensé en este emulador nuevo de TC porque cumplía todos los requisitos. El precio era mas barato que sus competidores y decidí probar. Lo cierto es que durante los 2 meses que lo use nunca logré deshacerme de la sensación de “ tocar por línea”. Los sonidos a la P.A no estaban mal pero la equalizacion es muy exagerada. Los compañeros del grupo me pedían que quitase los agudos porque molestaban mucho. Tenía que tocar con los agudos al 0. En fin, lo he vendido y he comprado un Strymon Iridium. Al final tienes que gastarte la pasta para sonar decente y disfrutar mínimamente en tus in ears
