Nothing special
Pedal is very solid. Good quality. But the sound is not that good... I bought it just to give some "color" to my amp, but it sounds better without pedal, than with it. It could sound better with an amp with a parallel fx loop

Nice lowprice pedal
Nothing over the top, but for the price it do a pretty nice job. Has a little background noise when switched on. Note that even though description say no battery operation, this is possible! It can run on a normal 9 volt battery and that is the reason I use this pedal over the holy grail.

TC Electronix The Prophet Digital Delay
I didn't buy the Skysurfer Reverb, I actually bought (and received) The Prophet. but somehow the Skysurfer appears in my pedals to review.
I can, however, highly recommend The Prophet. It's a great and simple introduction to delay pedals.

It takes some experimenting
I saw a lot of reviews about this product (positive and negative).
To be honest I was kinda disappointed the first time I plugged it in, but after some time and some experimenting I learned how to use it to maximize it's full potential. People need to realize that this is a basic reverb and nothing else beyond that. In my opinion it works best as some kind of short bluesy reverb. Personally, I like to use it with my Boss SD 1 and neck pickup to get those nice mellow bluesy sound. Furthermore, it has 3 modes (hall, plate, spring) which you can control with 3 knobs (one of them is a tone knob which I like very much and it's very hard to find on even more expensive units than this one). From my experience mix knob works the best between 9 and 12 o'clock and I couldn't find any use for any position beyond that.

It does not disappoint.
Simple and concise.
I didn't expect this sturdiness for a product at this price. Really well done.
Does what it has to do, no more.
It can not be said that the differences between the 3 types of reverb are beyond tenuous, but still, they all sound good.
I mostly use it for fretless bass and it works perfectly, also having great results on spaghetti guitars and things like that.
I set the knobs at 3 o'clock and the effect is already very generous. If you set everything at maximum, the level of "wetness" is something uncontrollable and almost funny to mess with.
Not having a myriad of options that others may have, I doubt there is any better option at this price.
The only "snag" is perhaps the size, especially if you have a pedalboard that's already very full.
But that's kinda a first world problem anyway.

Budget reverb pedal
TC Electronic Skysurfer Reverb pedal review.
I got this to add reverb to a guitar amp that is great, but doesn't have a reverb built in. I've used TC Electronic items before and been very happy with them. This looks well built, easy to understand the controls, and the price was very good indeed.
Sound: I haven't really been able to get the sound I was after, which is simply a basic one setting reverb to compliment a guitar amp, such as a spring reverb. I don't need or want anything with hundreds of options, really just one sound that works, and then perhaps increase / decrease the reverb level, depending on how reverberant a venue is.
Pros: very easy to use, reputable brand, great price!
Cons: nothing wrong with this, but I'll perhaps upgrade to a 'Hall of Fame' type pedal at more money, as this may give me more chance to find a reverb model that works for me and this amp. But for the price, it is really very good!
Summary: a good budget option, although it didn't get the sound I personally would prefer

Almost perfect!
The build quality really surprised me at this price. all metal housing and nothing feels cheap! what a surprise!
The featureset is also incredibly versatile. I personally like the spring setting a lot.
However, this product has 1 problem.
You have to set the knobs very low or else there is WAY too much reverb! I guess this makes the pedal more versatile. You'll never need another reverb pedal in your life. it's great, solid and well done.
I just wish it had a little less reverb in it.

Simple to use, not at all advanced
Pretty much as presented, really good looking with 4 controls. Sadly the Mix knob is not linear at all so huge jumps occur with tiny movements. Also the worst part is that there's a low SNR hence white noise in the background is always noticeable unless when playing loud.

Decent but limited
This is very good a low mix settings but becomes muddy the more you dial in the wet sound. Not a lot of difference between the three reverbs.

Amazing for the price.
I've been using this as my main reverb pedal for a few months now. I use it for the Banjo and it adds just enough spring reverb to add a fuller sound.
Pros:
- That price cannot be beaten for the hall and spring reverb it provides. This is it's biggest Pro
- Personally I love the style of this pedal line. The sky blue is lovely (pedal colour = better tone always)
Cons
- Sound can get a little murky the more reverb you add
- This a large footprint on a pedal board that could probably be provided in a smaller case.
