Great Mini-Snake
This snake cable (or multi-core) is great for many purposes, smaller setups, sub mixers, sub stageboxes etc., live or studio, at a bargain price. I use it when playing live without a sound tech. Then I have the mixer on the left side of the stage, the musicians who are close to it plugging in directly. I connect the M6 and put the box on the right side of the stage, so that the musicians standing farther away from the mixer can plug in without leaving the whole stage a total mess of cables.
The stagebox itself is quite solid, made of metal, good connectors which are numbered, thus making it easier to know what goes where (I use the corresponding numbers of the mixer channels). I usually play on smaller stages, so I would have liked the cable to be a bit shorter, but it is a good compromise length, it is still possible to use it with an off-stage mixer.

Pretty good for the price
Use this as a home studio multicore. I added braid to the tails to make it a bit smoother in use. Connectors seem fine, and the cable feels good enough quality.

The sssnake M6
I use this multicore in my studio, to connect six vocalmikes that I use while we're rehearsing with my band. The unit is attached to the ceiling, as are the microphones so I need short leads and the cable is permanently installed so there's little change for damage. I don't think I would use it on stage because it's pretty stiff and a little hard to handle.
But it does exactly what I want so I'm happy with it.
It's good value for the money!

Sssnake m6
i ordered the snake as i was after something not too expensive for a recording session that required a few extra inputs and spotted what looked like a great deal. Used it for the session and have since used it for live work as well as studio sessions.
Build quality is very good for the main enclosure and the cable is fairly good and not too big a diameter. What lets it down a little is the connectors. I've had to repair them a couple of times but i guess that's where the cost reduction has been taken.
Overall fairly impressed.

Sssnake M6 Multicore
I bought the Sssnake M6 multicore as an affordable way to be able to plug in mics on small stages, without lots of long XLR cables running everywhere. It has made a big practical difference to setting up my PA system for pub/bar gigs. The build quality of the stage box is really robust and has coped with being put in and out of cars and venues really well. Sound wise, there is no hiss or buzz on any of the core lines and the snake itself coils very easily. This is a great item for bands or performers on a budget who want to have a 'clean' stage, clear of loose mic cables.

Does what is says
Bought this to replace existing Sssnake that lasted 3 years, the quality is good for the price, the multicore cable is a bit too rigid

One of the longest used tools in the kit!
Put simple: I trust it. It works perfect for what I need it for (small bands)

Reliable solution for small stages and short cable runs...
I regularly use this to reach the vocal mics from the stageside desk with one of the bands I work with. Reliable connectors, surviving use on the road with no problem. Recommended.
