I recently purchased one of these for a soloist in a choir I was working with for a Christmas concert which I was able to connect to my Shure wireless system and I wasn't expecting such a good sound from the mic based on the affordable price.....
from my experience I have just ordered a 2nd unit

Fit perfectly with our existing transceiver. No noise or feedback whatsoever. Sounds very natural for speaking. I hav not tried it for singing yet. Price was good as well.

I would highly recommend the Earmic 500, I have used them them theatrical, speech and full blow musical vocal and had excellent results every time.
