Does it's job
I have this mic screen set up in the main vocal booth of my recording studio. It works great in further eliminating unwanted room noise and ambiance, and allowing for a dead and flat vocal recording.
So the product works, it does it's job, but I was not fully pleased with the build quality of the product.
The product is fairly simple to put together, but comes with no instructions. There are a few images on the box showing different ways to put it together, but it can be confusing getting the mic screen set up correctly for how you want to use it. It's a modular system and there a re a few parts you can take away or add, so it can be confusing to built at first.
When built and mounted on a stand, the mic screen can be a bit wonky and move about, even when tightening all possible screws. Not a major problem, more a slight annoyance.
One thing to consider is the price of this unit. It is much cheaper than any other mic screens on the market, and it does do it's job very well. I would definitely buy again if I needed another.

NOT THE BEST BUT OK FOR A START
I bought this to record vocals in a room I'm very used to but I noticed no big difference or whatsoever.
If you're gonna but this, make sure you have the room treated a bit and always have treatment behind the singer.
I'ts not durable as it cannot withstand very little drops...it barely hit my table one time and the screws don't go in easily anymore.
Unless you're really low on budget, get a better option!!

Good, but heavy!
Got this for the song booth at work.
It does its job, but...
1. It's really heavy
2. It's kinda wobbly
3. The mount piece should be taller, you can't adjust your screen so much because that bottom metal mount strip hits the mic.
So it is cumbersome and really needs a heavy set microphone stand. I first mounted it on a lighter stand and the whole thing just wanted to tip over at the slightest touch. Not a good thing if the microphone is an expensive piece of technology.
In short, I would not recommend this item. Get a lighter version from other brands instead.

Hmmmm the jury's out !
It looks superb, the quality is very good.
It's very fiddly to set up with a studio mic and I must admit it's a bit wobbly on the mic stand.
Once you set it up, just leave it where it is.
When you move your mic stand you will see how wobbly it can be and that's after I have tightened it.
Not one of my best purchases but it's ok.....

Not very sturdy, but does what it's told.
At times I think this whole thing will just fall apart, and even though it doesn't it still feels like a childrens toy when you're setting it up. Nevertheless, you get a passable micscreen. Good value, really.

A useful addition
Fairly good quality. But the screw for the microphone mount is not well engineered and needs some plumbers tape to grip properly.

Average but gets the job done
Although I've given it 3 stars I would still buy this unit again, but before you buy you should know that it's a clunky bit of kit. It does noticeably improve the sound quality of a recording and I use it in a completely untreated room with great results. Only reason I've marked it down is for the build quality but at that price you can't really complain!

Good!
I don't like the screws and the knobs. It's not easy to secure it on the mic stand. It's a little bit shaky and I'm always afraid if it's going to fall. But you get what you paid for and this one does the job perfectly.

Fine and adjustable micscreen
This micscreen does its job - making vocals dry.
It is suitable for rooms that have poor acoustics. My room has plenty of echo and this little thing helps a lot. Also it can be adjusted to suit probably every microphone one could find. Still I would've made it from aluminum to make it lighter, this thing is heavy.
I thought it would be sturdier, it has some wiggles. Until no one touches the stand it's fine.
