Good resonant sound, bassy and pleasing to my ear. It's fun to hit. the head of the beater is a felt ball thing. but I am happy with this purchase. really pleased, my neighbours, maybe less so

Un très beau tambour au look sobre et sans kitch, avec une peau extrêmement agréable au toucher (régulière, douce, fine, et bien résonnante).

Utilisant le tambour surtout pour le jeu aux doigts, en position "lap-style", je suis surprise en bien par la qualité du son obtenu, car je craignais un peu les aléas de la peau naturelle. Il faut noter cependant qu'il pèse un peu plus de 1 kg et qu'il n'y a pas de trou de maintien : ce tambour ne se prête donc pas au jeu en position levée/portée (il n'est pas fait pour ça).

Attention, les dimensions sont inexactes : le tambour mesure 41 cm de diamètre (et donc ce n'est pas un 18" mais plutôt un 16").
