It's good for a temporary fix
I've used the Thomann adaptor for items a few times and they certainly get the job done. I wouldn't like to use it on a permanent basis and it cannot beat having a power cable with the correct plug on the end.

Necessary Evil
I hate these adapters, but these are at least good quality ones! I really do wish Thomann would just supply UK Powercon or IEC cables as appropriate as some other suppliers do now. Most users will cut the plugs off anyway and just wire a UK plug, so these are just contributing to a mountain of plastic waste (I know one organisation that threw away about 100 of them recently having been giving them out free to people for YEARS!)

Does the job - just a slight shame the Tube15 doesn't come with a UK plug fitted directly. Not a big deal though I'll change it myself shortly.

Good quality, good price.
Thomann is amazing. I love how this is easily transportable and you can put it anywhere. I wish it was a clip-on option and not screwed.

UK safety plug
Bought the HB-20R and didn't think about the plug. looked at my order and a third item had been thrown in at no extra charge. Does what it needs to, turns a 2 pin with earth into a 3 pin UK plug, its fused with a 13A. Makes the cable point out from the wall rather than straight down which is great for me as I have a socket mounted near the top of a bench so there isn't much clearance under it.

Not much to say!
I use this product to convert my EU extension lead to a UK 3-pin plug socket safely and I've not had any issues so far!
It fits most EU male endings very well, although I had to do a bit of fiddling with my cable to be able to close the plug! Arrives open so you do not have to worry about opening the wrong part of the plug or anything like that.
The addition of screws to secure the plug socket is great but I had to push the cover down tightly to get them to screw in!
I've had no issues with the fuse blowing or power not working and I would recommend to a friend. If you are buying this, I recommend checking if you need it because Thomann ship you with all the adaptors you should need for free - well at least that happened for me!

Bit fiddly to install, but after that does it's job well
I had to struggle a bit to install the UK plug inside, but once all clicked into place, is just an UK plug like any other.

Not something you want to go wrong...
This was included as a good will gesture by the awesome guys at Thomann. I haven't used the product though as it is more of an emergency item for me. The build is solid and screws together holding everything tightly in place. I would still recommend buying the appropriate cable for the item you're purchasing but if the cable is fixed this is a great alternative.
