RW
Thank you Thomann, for making my dream come true
Robin WW 18.12.2021
To be honest I was very close to returning this trumpet, but at last I must say it is a very good product in the sense of value/price, and I have one of my dream (playing a C rotary trumpet, like the guys in Berlin philharmonic I watched since I was a kid) come true. When picking up this trumpet, as a amateur piston trumpet player I almost cracked every note on it and find the sound dull and not vibrating, like the sound of a cheap oboe. I try many mouthpieces and struggle to get used to it. It get better and better gradually. So I decide to keep it. Well, the next cheapest C rotary cost around 3,000 EUR, so, thank you Thomann, for making my dream come true. I well keep it and get along with it, long term.

JY
The most beautiful Rotary at less than half the price
Joseph Y. 13.11.2025
It sounds like a rotary, feels like a rotary, with the quirks one has to overcome as with any rotary, and it is less than half the price of most reputable brands.

Its sound might be slightly thinner than what I perceive as the core sound of a rotary, but given that this is a C rotary, I think it justifies it. And its vent holes work perfectly to reduce resistance and improve intonation, as with any reputable brand.

My verdict on this product is: less than half the price, 85-90% of the quality. Well done, Thomann!

It's a good trumpet. You can use it in many scenarios but it's always "on the field". Maybe there's 2 point that can be improved on instrument:
1. the mechanic it's a little bit slow (not so much)
2. there's a little bit resistance during the first attack, it's not perfect on the response.
