It doesn't protect the subwoofer for little shocks, you can use it mainly as a cover for rain, dust or moisture.

Cover for ELX 118p
This cover is perfect for keeping dust act off your unit, i would rate this item just ok, it has no padding as such to help with little scuffs or knocks in transit, also would have been nice to leave room for castors which i intended to attach to my bins to make transport easier
