Decent quality at a great price
I got this case mainly for storage. I don't need a fancy, expensive guitar case for that. This case is perfect for my needs.
The lid lines up perfectly with the case and the clasps work fine. These things can often be a problem on cheap guitar cases but there are no such problems with this one.
It's far from the best quality guitar case I've owned though. The tolex is quite thin and fragile and so is the internal padding but it will certainly give better protection than a gig bag. I would never use this case for air travel but I wouldn't think twice about throwing it into the back of a van. It probably won't last forever with a life on the road but it's still good value. On the positive side there's also a generously sized storage compartment (but the lid seems extremely fragile and close to breaking already).
I saw several reviews that complained about the smell. Sure, it doesn't smell very nice but it's not THAT bad. Pretty much as expected from a new, cheap guitar case padded with synthetic materials.
A "one size fits all" case for single-/double-cut guitar will obviously not be a perfect fit for ALL sc/dc-guitars. I tested it with a couple of different guitars, including some non-Gibson models (Harley Benton Junior DC and Yamaha Revstar) and sure, it wasn't a perfect fit but close enough. A towel or some foam can be used for extra padding if you don't want the guitar moving around in there but I would have no worries about using this case as long as it's handled responsibly.
Recommended if you're looking for the cheapest possible hardcase for your single-double-cut guitar. If you want top quality, look elsewhere.

Garbage!
These cases look great from the outside but on the inside they are horrible. A guitar case should hug your guitar and protect it with good thick padding and a plush interior. Well these cases are anything but that. The padding is thin, the fit is very loose, and its basically covered with a thin crushed velvet. I've purchased cases from China for the same money that included shipping that are light years better than this. I'm so disappointed in the quality of these, I guess being a fan of the Harley Benton guitars I was expecting a quality that was on par with the care and quality that Thomann puts into that product. Well guys I wouldn't dare put a guitar inside of one of these cases for fear the case itself would damage it!!!

Good case for angled headstocks
I originally bought this for the Harley Benton PRS style guitar, but that guitar fit well in one of the normal Thomann Strat style cases, so I'm not using it for that.
I decided to put my Harley Benton RB-612BK 12 string in there and, to my surprise, it fits perfectly. No wobbling about. I was very happy about this, as I didn't think I would be able to find a case that fit it.
I also tried fitting a Schecter C1 Custom in there and it wobbled about a bit. If you fold up a strap and put it down the side, it helps keep it in place.
All in all, quite a versatile case. Very happy with it

Not hugely impressed
Bought for a PRS SE Standard, but the fit isn't right, allowing the guitar to move around significantly in the case - there really isn't much support.
Build quality seems ok, but after 2 train journeys (where the case was kept away from luggage compartments), the black 'tolex' covering has developed a lot of small holes and grazes that I'm sure will only get worse.
Overall I'd not recommend, and definitely not for PRS SE guitars.

FIts my Jackson JS22 SC Monarkh + accessories
First, this case fits well my guitar, which has some atypical dimension. Secondly, i find it extremely useful that it has a closed drawer (pocket) on the inside, where you can easily store pedal, power source AND strings. YES, this much space.
Construction is sturdy and takes shocks well (so far).
The finish looks good but not premium.
I'd 10/10 buy it again and recommend it.

Not suitable for SG guitars
I bought this case for my SG style guitar. The description said good for double cut so I decided to go for it.
Too bad, because the guitar does not fit well, so when I close the case, it puts a pressure on the neck, bending it a little.
This is not good for the wood in the long term, and it makes the guitar out of tune after some hours inside.

I thought i ordered a cheap case... But this doesn't look cheap.
This thing like i said is worth every single coin you pay for it including the shipping cost. Don't expect the top quality but man this thing looks beautiful and is really balanced. I was worried about the inside gaps but there's not much of it. And there has to be some since this is a multi purpose case. Just place some towels on top of the guitar body and neck. You're good to gig with it. The guitar sits in nicely, there are no gaps left under the guitar so i can confidentially recommend this.

Not just any case?!!!!
I always love the non discript cases, what is inside, a les paul? an SG, a violin? Nope, you can mask anything. Durable, sturdy and great value.
