Worthwhile if you are buying the Harley Bentons with Stainless Steel frets
Added this to my order for the Harley Benton Fusion-T HH HT Roasted FNT as Harley Bentons normally have poor fretwork. Also, I didn't want to have to take the guitar to my local tech during lock down.
It's expensive for what it is, and a good local tech could do the work cheaper and as well.
There was a small ding on the neck which, luckily, isn't felt when playing. I had a partial refund from Thomann for that. Can't say for certain that this wasn't there before it was handed to the guitar tech, but I'm disappointed that it got through QC.

Not happy, but worked it out myself
Ordered this service on a brand new Harley Benton III HH SSP. My requirements were low action with no fret buzz and trem set up floating. Upon receiving the guitar unfortunately I discovered that the neck pocket had the wrong angle, making upwards movement in combination with low action impossible. Instead of addressing the issue they just went ahead and performed the plek service before blindly shipping it out. Also the neck pickup was loose and rattled about, which i discovered as soon as picking the guitar out of the box. I had to shim the neck, adjust the bridge height, trem action and intonation myself to get the guitar to work as requested & paid for. I also fixed the loose neck pickup. However, once this was done the instrument became very nice. The fretwork is impeccable, but everything else here missed the mark by a lot.
