I bought this for my laptop to sit beside my kit, but this was not the intended purchase for this product. The felt, which is amazing and keeps things from getting scratched will suffocate the fan of a PC as it's quite thick, so don't stick a laptop on it. I now use it as a catch all table for all my drumming bits and it works great. It's quite sturdy, flat, and nothing will roll off it.
It's also a great thing to mount a headphone hanger to.
It's quite heavy, so if you're transporting it around keep in mind that it's not wafer thin - it's heavy and sturdy.
After owning it, I can't imagine not having one - after all you can't put your wallet on the pads of an electric drum kit.

Bargain trap tray for orchestral use

I had been looking for a tray this shape for a while, but I just could not justify the expense of them. Then I discovered this one by Thomann for a fraction of the price.
It does exactly the same as the more expensive trays. I've already used it 3 times in a month in orchestral gigs. It's also just the right size for storing tambourines, bass drum beaters, bass bows for vibes, etc.
The tray is really well made, easy to transport, easy to assemble (the memory lock also helps), and the fabric material feels good quality. Double braced legs help with stability too.

Really good percussion table. I am not a drummer or percussionist, but I use it for everything. For my laptop and audio interface when I am recording, for sheets, for midi keyboards, for percussions, and sometimes for things that are laying in the studio and it serves well. It is sturdy and will last a long time. I mainly use it when I am on the road and I don't know if there will be a good place to put my things on. It doesn't take much space in the car. It has a quite large space on it and the soft carpet is a nice touch and will keep things from making sounds. Can't say anything bad about it. Buy it if you need one.

It's a nice percussion table, especially considering its price. It's nice and horizontal, and suitable for percussion instruments as well as a laptop and recording equipment.
Just be careful when lifting it by the table bit, it's possible for the stand to fall out of its socket/holder, and then you're left trying to put everything back together whilst not dropping everything that's on the table, but this has probably only happened once.
