I bought this mug on a whim, and I'm glad I did! Wowzers!
The cup is made of exquisite porcelain of high-fire ceramic clay, coated with a semi-matte glaze. The glaze has been applied very evenly. The brandname Thomann is proudly emblazoned on the front for all to see, if you ever had any doubts where this mug came from. The choice of white font is the absolute diametrical opposite to the black of the rest of the mug. Truly striking.
You can put all kinds of wondrous objects into the mug. There are too many things to list, but I will try. Coffee - I like to put coffee in the mug. It holds the delicate blend well, allowing the sumptuous aroma of Central and South American beans with hints of citrus and spring flower to slowly escape into the air. Other liquids would also be suited to this great vessel. Tea is another good choice, but you don't need to confine yourself to basic orange pekoe. No, nay, you can adventure further and wander across the rainbow of white teas, black teas, and white teas. Not so colorful? How about the delicate pluckings of a fine oolong or jasmine? Allow petals of chrysanthemum to slowly and delicately unfurl in the steaming water. It probably holds other liquids too, but I haven't been brave enough to attempt them yet. These are summits that remain unconquered.
