Thomann TCA 501R Multi Cajon

This is my second cajon, that I tried to play and I love it. The sound is great, but I didn't really understand the point if the snare system. When it's on it works great, but if it's off I hear some kind of the rattle. I always keep it on ON level, so it's fine by me. But it would be nice to have some manual about how can I use or setup it.

Also front panel has different wood pattern on it, not like on the picture. And Thomann logo is black, not the white one. It's fine by me, but it could be mentioned in the description.

I bought this cajon because it looked nice and had the option to mute the strings. I really love the bass sound this cajon gives. I do had some issues with the snare retainer. But you can fix that back up on the inside with a tool provided.
I would recommend this cajon for practicing. For going on stage it will also be ok but for professional use you might wanna buy the more expensive ones from Thomann

Although tricky to adjust the snare on/off system with the alan key, once fine tuned it is a great cajon (great balance of the snares and bass). It would have been helpful to have a video, as it took me over 30 minutes to play around adjusting.
The front of the cajon is NOT the same as the picture!!! A lighter wood, slightly more like the colour of the sides on the picture.

For the price, it is great! And the bag provided feels high quality.

Bought this cajon for a friend and we were both very happy about it!
It comes with a great range of tones and can really take a hit.
